How long does one set of cells last?
Up to 48 hours of light. That is three or four dinners, or one long party, before you think about the batteries at all.
Can I change the batteries?
Yes. Two coin cells per light, the kind any supermarket sells. The compartment needs a tool to open, which is what keeps it safe around children.
Will the adhesive mark my table?
The ring sticks to the bottom of the bottle, not to the table. It lifts off glass without residue and can be moved a few times. Under a glass you can use the light loose, with no adhesive at all.
Can they get wet?
Splash-safe, so a spilled drink is not a problem. Do not put them in water or in the dishwasher.
Do they get hot?
No. They stay cool under a full glass or a chilled bottle.
Do they work under a dark bottle?
Clear glass lights up through the whole bottle. Dark glass gives you a warm ring at the base instead, which is the look a bar shelf has.
How many do I need?
Six for a small table or a shelf. Twelve for a dinner with friends. Twenty for the table, the bar and the shelf at once.
